This Privacy Policy describes how Magic Digital, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit www.magicdigitalapps.com (the "Site"). We are committed to being transparent about the limited data our Site collects.

In short: this Site is hosted on Squarespace and uses only Squarespace's default analytics, a contact form that lets you reach us, and an optional email signup form for updates about our app, Magic Track. We do not run e-commerce or third-party advertising trackers, and we do not collect any personal information beyond what is described below.

We collect information in three ways: automatically through site analytics, directly from you when you choose to submit our contact form, and directly from you when you choose to sign up for our email signup form.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting platform, Squarespace, automatically collects certain information through its built-in analytics, which may include:

  • Your IP address

  • Browser type and version

  • Device type and operating system

  • Approximate geographic location (derived from your IP address)

  • The pages you visit on our Site and the time spent on them

Mailerlite also automatically records limited technical information when you subscribe, including:

  • The IP address used to sign up (for spam prevention and compliance purposes)

  • The date and time of the subscription

  • The page or source where you subscribed

After subscription, Mailerlite uses standard email tracking technologies (such as tracking pixels and unique links) to record whether you open our emails and click links within them. This information is used to measure overall engagement and improve future emails.

Subscribing is entirely optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email we send.

3. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Squarespace places two types of cookies on our Site:

5. How Information Is Stored and Shared

Our Site is hosted by Squarespace, Inc., which acts as our data processor. The analytics data described above, as well as any messages you submit through the contact form, are processed and stored on Squarespace's servers, which are located in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to our business email inbox so we can respond, and a copy may also be retained within the Squarespace platform. Your message is therefore also handled by our email provider as part of normal email delivery.

If you subscribe to our email list, your email address and the associated subscription data described in Section 2 are processed and stored by Mailerlite (MailerLite Limited), which acts as our email marketing data processor. Mailerlite stores subscriber data on servers located in the European Union and the United States. We do not share information with any other third parties except where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain analytics data only for as long as it is useful for the purposes described above, or as long as Squarespace retains it under its standard analytics practices. We do not maintain separate records of visitor data.

Email list data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe (using the link in any of our emails or by contacting us), your information is removed from active mailing lists. Mailerlite may retain a minimal record of unsubscribed addresses to ensure we do not send you future emails.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
